ADJUSTING THE LINES

Turning a group of players into a team doesn’t happen in a matter of days. Getting the block right, aligning the defensive line, and getting the team to defend higher up was the product of relentless effort across 95 sessions.

This evolution is clear in the photos. The first, from Matchday 3, shows the yellow team with a deep, uncoordinated defensive line and inadequate spacing between players. In the second photo, from Matchday 17, you can see a compact, organized block with a high, firm, perfectly aligned back line.

I call it embedding behaviours, and it’s tangible proof that real progress comes with patience, consistency, and daily work. This is the path we follow to build a competitive, solid team.
